For this project I created hand crafted compositions, while using only four black squares to convey the set of words that were given. We also learned how to incorporate design process and apply design elements upon our decision making.
I chose to express the word "Depth", the distance between objects based on the concepts that are shown. These concepts use cropping, scale, and rhythm to make the compositions come to life.
During the process, I honed in the sense of craft, making each composition as crisp as possible. Placement and cropping had to be taken in consideration, while limiting myself to four squares, on a black and white composition.
